The Middletown Bulldogs started in 2001 with the vision to teach our youth the fundamentals of basketball, team work, fair play and positive attitude.  We started out with three teams and increased to six teams in 2004 due to the high demand of youth that want to play the game of basketball. In 2006 we had 9 teams- 8 teams of young men and 1 team of young ladies. Our organization has continued to grow since then.

JULY 2009- CONGRATULATIONS TO THE U11 BOYS TEAM FOR A GOOD RUN AT THE D3 NATIONALS IN HAMPTON, VA.!

  The 2009 season was dedicated to the memory of Mr. Hampton Watson, Sr. "What about them Bulldogs!" You will truly be missed.

We are glad to have had 3 of the best of rest juniors in the state according to the CT Pro ,College, High School  News from The Hartford Courant 1/6/2005,  (Chauncey Hardy, Chevar Rankins and Amari Spievey). These three young men along with others have lead one of the Bulldog teams to a D2 national championship game placing number 2 in the nation in the year of 2003. In the year 2007 these young men along with Stephen Faulkner are now in college and can be seen playing at Iowa,Sacred Hart,Stoneybrook and Western. Bulldogs Seniors to watch are Middletown High School's 2007(Dominic Tenn now at Mount Ida College,Andre Francis Attending Western CT)and Rashaun Watson who is attending Mount Ida College . Piere Simpson Springfield College & Dustin Trail anttending college in California(East Hartford High),Charles Sims (Glastonbury)Josh Hodge (Hall) Alfonso Wilkerson(Plainville High) attending college in Maine, Mark Micowski(Xavier)now attending college in Maine, Demonte Holley(Vinal), Brandon Ruberti(Daniel Hand High)Danny Gonzalez leading scorer in the state in 2007. (East Windsor)Marquis Jackson, Jeron Belin of whom you can read about in college paper below, Big John Jenkins, and #3 guard in the state Rashemell Vereen (Maloney High) now attending Franklin Pierce college in New Hampshire.  Bulldog Players to watch . Rishawn Brown, Knari Jackson, Neil Robinson not playing graduating early taking college courses, Tim Harrison, Colin Gordon and Trey James,(Middletown High) Jordan Hyman, Malik Bonner and JR Barnes (Xavier High)

 Former bulldogs are Chancey Hardy who is playing basketball for Sacred Heart University,Christopher Willard who is at University of Rhode Island
Chevar Rankins is playing football for Stoney Brook , Amari Spievey will play football for Iowa,Jerome Burton at Uconn studying Crimial Justice. Stephen Faulkner  just transfered to California from Western . Tyrone Carr is studying Crimial Justice, Alondre Rush has signed to Central .Dustin Trail is attending college in California.   Mark Micowski is attending college in Vermont.Micheal Lundell is attending Nicholas studying Business Management. Andre Francis is attending Southern CT.Jeron Belin is at a Junior college in NY. Dominic Tenn is attending Middlesex Community College.Keep up the good work fellas!!!
